The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District has a new look!

The colors of the new logo represent the different divisions they serve:
• Light blue represents Health Education, Epidemiology, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness
• Green represents environmental health
• Yellow represents Vital Statistics (birth and death certificates)
• Orange represents Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
• Dark blue represents Community Wellness and Health (including immunizations, TB, and HIV/STI clinics)

Recently the Texas Association of City & County Health Officials (TACCHO) named the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District the 2024 Health Department of the Year!

TACCHO serves Texas local public health officials and departments in an effort to enhance local public health practices and improve the health of Texans.

A big congrats to the Public Health District on all their hard work in continuing to improve the lives of those living in McLennan County!
