The City of Waco’s Planning Services team has been honored with the American Planning Association's Silver Urban Design Award for their innovative 25th Street Corridor Implementation Plan. This prestigious recognition underscores the City's dedication to enhancing urban spaces through thoughtful planning and sustainable design.

The 25th Street Corridor Implementation Plan focuses on transforming the area into a vibrant, multi-functional corridor by prioritizing pedestrian accessibility, safety, and multimodal transportation solutions. By integrating community input and emphasizing connectivity, the plan not only seeks to improve traffic flow but also aims to foster economic growth, promote environmental sustainability, and enhance the quality of life for residents.
