The Animal Shelter is working to transition all past, present, and future volunteers through our screening process, so that they can get back to the work they love. This is a necessary step to maintain the highest standards of safety and care.
While our screening process is underway, our dedicated animal shelter staff, volunteers who have already completed the process, and employees volunteering from other city departments are caring for our furry friends. All Animal Shelter services are continuing during the transition. We have some exciting things coming, and we'll share updates along the way.
