Five dogs of different breeds

We would like to welcome you to visit us off the circle in Waco at 2032 Circle Road. We've been working on some fun new things for our furry friends! We kindly ask for your patience during this transition as we make more improvements and update our processes to ensure the best care for our animals.

Pet Circle Regional Animal Center supports most of the stray animals in Central Texas, including 13 cities and most of McLennan County. Pet Circle is an open-intake shelter that accepts any animal brought in by any of the partner communities.

What We're Up to Right Now

  • We're Open! Come visit us during our new operating hours. The adoption center is now open:
    • Monday to Friday from noon to 7 p.m.
    • Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Services Continue Uninterrupted: All current services will continue as we train our new staff members and add additional staff members in the coming weeks.
  • Volunteer Power: We're updating our volunteer process to ensure the highest standards. While the process takes a little longer now, other city departments are covering dog and cat care alongside our existing staff. Sign up to be a volunteer!
  • Foster and Rescue Updates: Our new foster and rescue coordinators will be contacting our fosters soon for introductions. In the meantime, fosters can continue contacting us at (254) 754-1454 for any foster animal needs.
  • New Website on the Horizon: Get ready for our brand new website launching at the end of the month! For now, visit petcirclewaco.org to browse our adoptable animals.
