Bulldozer clearing large fallen branchesThe recent storms and heavy rainfall resulted in many downed trees and road closures throughout Waco and our parks, along with a significant rise in river levels, flowing debris, and flooding.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • City crews are out assessing damage and clearing fallen limbs. Please be patient as they make their way across the city as quickly as possible.
  • If a fallen limb is blocking a street, please call and report it to (254) 299-2489, on the MyWaco app, or at MyWaco.com.
  • Brazos Park East is currently closed, and fallen limbs and trees are scattered throughout Cameron Park and other areas of town.
  • If you experience power outages at intersections, approach the traffic lights slowly and treat them as a four-way stop.
  • Please continue to watch for flooded roads and exercise caution when driving. Detours and closures are posted.
  • We will post updates on any additional affected areas on our page, so check back for information.

Stay safe out there, Waco!
