Regular cleaning and maintenance are necessary for outdoor sculptures. All bronze sculptures require cleaning with a pH-neutral cleaning solution and water, and then a coat of melted wax is applied to protect it. Left untreated, outdoor bronze sculptures can acquire green or white streaking, eventually damaging the surface.
