Clean & Beautiful Programs BAC collaborates with city departments like Solid Waste and Public Works and nonprofits such as Keep Waco Beautiful to enhance Waco’s beauty. Together, we improve public right-of-ways, streetscapes, and neighborhoods through beautification efforts like litter removal, native landscaping, and tree planting, making Waco a more attractive place to live and visit.
Corridor Beautification Incentive Program The Corridor Beautification Incentive Program (CBIP) assists property owners and tenants of retail, commercial, and multi-family properties located along high-priority gateway corridors within the City with grant funding for beautification projects. This 1:1 matching grants provide up to $15,000 in funding to support qualifying property improvements adjacent to rights-of-way.
IH 35 Decorative Lighting Program The City of Waco uses decorative LED lighting along I-35 to promote community institutions, holidays, and events and to honor significant individuals at the national, state, or local level. Following the guidelines outlined, residents can suggest lighting displays to recognize these occasions or persons.
