Green Communities Conference

The Green Communities Conference envisions a future where our cities pursue changes within sustainability and conservation. We believe the interconnected landscape of education, health, and financial security is pivotal with our future as it relates to sustainability.

The 2024 conference is envisioning Sustainable Innovation For All as we gather together to cultivate sustainable actions in our respective communities across Texas. The Green Communities Conference brings together hundreds of passionate sustainability leaders from all over Texas to dream greener together. This event is put on by the Waco Sustainability Network in deep collaboration with other entities in the Central Texas region.

The conference is open to the public and anyone interested in sustainability and green communities. The conference features presentations, exhibitors, field trips, and breakout lunch workshops. General admission is $25.

A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for residents who need assistance paying the registration fee. For more information, please contact Eric Coffman at ericc@wacotx.gov.
