Waco Parks and Recreation offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for hosting a variety of events, from baby showers and weddings to family reunions, birthday parties or picnics in the park.

  • Multi-purpose Room: $80/hour (3-hour minimum) / $100 refundable deposit

  • Gymnasium for practice (regular business hours only): $40/hour for half court and $55/hour for full court

Doris Miller Community Center

  • Multi-purpose Room (on 2nd floor): $80/hour (3-hour minimum) / $100 refundable deposit
  • Gymnasium for events (regular business hours only): $265 (4-hour minimum) / $55 per additional hour / $100 refundable deposit

South Waco Community Center

Indian Spring Park/Suspension Bridge

Located in downtown Waco on the west side of the Brazos River, Indian Spring Park is home to several festivals and events each year. The park features the historic Waco Suspension Bridge and the Branding the Brazos statue series, which pays homage to an important part of Texas folklore and history, the Chisholm Trail.

  • Festival area: $1,325 per day commercial use / $500 deposit. Includes park exclusivity, restroom facilities, amphitheater, electricity access, water access and trashcans.

Brazos Park East

Brazos Park East features a boat ramp, pavilion, disc golf course, trails, horseshoe pits and a scenic view of the cliffs along the Brazos River. The park is the site of festivals, community events and private gatherings.

  • Festival area: $1,325 per day / $500 deposit. Includes park exclusivity, 3 pavilions, horseshoe pits, restroom facilities, lighted river trail, electricity access and water access.
  • Horseshoe Pavilion: $265/day. Includes pavilion and electricity access.
  • Bandshell Pavilion: $265/day. Includes bandshell pavilion and electricity access.
  • Small Pavilion: $105/day. Includes pavilion. No electricity access.

Bridge Street Plaza

Bridge Street Plaza, Waco's "Front Porch," opened in 2021 and features an amphitheater, large grass lawn, picnic tables and shade structures. Just two blocks from the river, the plaza connects East Waco to downtown via the Suspension Bridge. The park is the site of community events, concerts and private gatherings.

  • Festival area: $525 per day. Includes park exclusivity, amphitheater, electricity access, water access, trashcans and installation of bollards.
  • Amphitheatre: $265/day. Includes amphitheater and electricity access.

Heritage Square

Heritage Square, located in Downtown Waco, offers shaded walkways, seating areas, fountains and a beautiful sculpture featuring children at play. The park hosts community events and private functions throughout the year.

  • Festival area - $1,325 per day / $500 deposit. Includes park exclusivity, electricity access and water access.

Northern Gateway Park

Northern Gateway Park is perfect for events and parties, plus you're at the very top of the Cameron Park trail system. Neighboring Lovers Leap, this area is the longtime home of picnics and ball games.

  • Festival area - $1,325 per day / $500 deposit. Includes park exclusivity, a pavilion, parking lot, restroom facilities, playground, water play misters, electricity access and water access.
  • Pavilion - $265/day. Includes pavilion and electricity access.

Reservation Process:

Online

Step 1.Create a free WebTrac account or sign in to an existing account

Visit the Waco Parks and Recreation reservation website. Log in to an existing account or create a new account by clicking the "Sign In / Register" link at the top right-hand corner of the screen. If registering a new account, you will need to create a username and password. An account is required to reserve a park pavilion or facility online. There is no cost to create an account.

Step 2.Reserve & pay online

From the homepage, click the "Pavilion Rentals" link. Filter by date, headcount and/or features to check availability. Select desired pavilion or facility by clicking the preferred time slot so that it becomes highlighted in dark blue. Click the "Add to Cart" link at the bottom of the page to reserve, then continue to payment.

Step 3.Make Payment

Open your cart to check out and make payment. Fees will be calculated for you automatically. Please ensure you have a credit card handy so you can pay and finalize your reservation. Please note that American Express is not accepted, and reservations are not considered final until payment is made in full.

In Person

Step 1.Visit the Waco Parks and Recreation office

To reserve a park pavilion or facility in person, visit the Waco Parks and Recreation administrative office at the below address.

Step 2.Submit a completed Facility Rental Agreement

A signed Facility Rental Agreement is required to reserve a park pavilion or facility. The form can be downloaded online, or a hard copy can also be requested upon arrival.

Step 3.Make payment

Accepted methods of payment include credit card, check and cash. Reservations are not final until payment is made in full and a Facility Rental Agreement is on file with the Waco Parks and Recreation administrative office.

By Phone

To reserve a park pavilion or facility by phone, call the Waco Parks and Recreation administrative office at (254) 750-5980.

Step 2.Submit a completed Facility Rental Agreement

A signed Facility Rental Agreement is required to reserve a park pavilion or facility. The form can be downloaded online. Once completed, please email to parksinfo@wacotx.gov.

A Waco Parks and Recreation representative will contact you once your application has been received to confirm if your rental request is available. If available, payment is then required to finalize your reservation. If you have any questions or have not heard back from a representative in an appropriate amount of time, please feel free to call the office at (254) 750-5980.
