Recycle your live Christmas tree!

Waco Parks and Recreation is partnering, once again, with Keep Waco Beautiful for the annual Chipping of the Green tree-mulching event. Bring your live trees to Heritage Square in downtown Waco from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 6 to participate.

Chipping of the Green is free to the public, and a team will be onsite to help unload the trees from vehicles.

Please note that all trees must be live and free of ornaments/decorations. All participants will receive a free bag of freshly-scented mulch to take home.
