Waco City Manager Submits Proposed 2024-2025 Budget

Waco City Manger Bradley Ford presented the Proposed Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget to Waco City Council on July 2, 2024.

Over the following weeks, City Council will review and may initiate amendments to the proposed budget before the final adoption at a special called City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 27. The approved budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 will go into effect starting Tuesday, October 1.

About Us

Fiscal Management Services manages the City of Waco's finances to ensure the city remains good stewards of public funds. The department oversees the annual budget adopted by the City Council. In addition to the budget, the department also has divisions in payroll, treasury, accounts payable, grants and purchasing.

Fiscal Management Services earned the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association for the last 20 years—the highest achievement in governmental budgeting.
