Livestock Impoundment

All state and local laws and ordinances are applicable to livestock within city limits.

Appropriate and necessary actions may be taken to protect persons from the imminent danger of:

  • physical injury
  • contamination of water supply
  • infestation of vermin or insects
  • the spread of contagious disease
  • improper storage of toxic materials
  • flooding
  • explosion
  • other reasons listed in Texas House Bill 1750
