Disposing of Televisions

*Televisions are accepted from City of Waco residents only, with the proof of residency required.
Proof of Residency is:(1) A current City of Waco Water Utilities bill which has “Residential Refuse Services” detailed on it, and (2) a current driver’s license with the address matching the address on the bill.
Televisions that can be accepted at Cobbs must be:
32” (diagonal screen size) or less.
No flat-screen or home-theatre type televisions can be accepted.
There is a fee of $15 for television disposal.
$20 for large console (furniture type) televisions.
Before you recycle your television, consider whether your old/used TVs is working or not. If it’s still working we recommend donation as the best way to save energy and natural resources.
