Hours: Various days and hours depending on events scheduled at the Convention Center. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Prepare food and operate catering, bar service and concession venue at the convention center. Ability to operate a cash register and other equipment inherent to the job. Employee will set up and work event functions with food sales and bar sales, clean food preparation and serving areas, and conduct and maintain inventory of food products. Must adhere to department and program dress code requirements. Must be at assigned workplace during regularly scheduled times. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Follow City and departmental policies and procedures. Primarily works in a climate controlled office environment. Occasionally work outdoors in the heat, sun, high humidity, and wind. Some individuals are exposed to loud noises from crowd.

REQUIRED:

Drivers License: Valid Class C Texas DL
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: No experience required.
Certifications: No certifications required. Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Certificate and a TABC Seller's Certificate within 30 days from hire date.
Testing: No testing required.
Physical Demands: Some heavy lifting may be required.

DESIRED: Food Service and/or Bar Service experience is desired.
