Cotton Belt Trail Notice

Starting Thursday, October 19, construction will begin for the City of Waco’s Highway 84 Wastewater Project, which will affect trail usage along a portion of the Cotton Belt Trail until the summer of 2024.

The section of affected trail will stretch from the trailhead entrance at Trail Blazer Park to Church Road. Trail users will still have access to the portion of trail that extends from the parking lot at Church Road/Cotton Belt Trail to the trailhead entrance at the Waco Regional Land Fill on Hannah Hill Road.

Please also note that approximately half of the Church Road parking lot will be utilized for equipment staging during the project. We appreciate your patience while improvements are made.
