Looking for items that are not in the Waco McLennan County Library online catalog?    Search the Texas Group Catalog for the item you want, then request that the item be sent to your library for pickup! All you need is a valid library card and PIN.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), commonly called “Obamacare” or the Affordable Care Act (ACA), is a federal statute signed into law by President Obama on March 23, 2010. 

One requirement of the law, the individual mandate to carry health insurance, goes into effect on January 1, 2014. 

The information and links below are provided by the library to assist the public in finding and selecting a health plan through the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace.  Enrollment through the marketplace begins on October 1, 2013.
