Junior Police Academy (JPA)
Eligible applicants: Students who will be attending high school (grades 9-12).
Class will be conducted for 2 weeks, June 10th-21st, 8 a.m.-noon.
A graduation ceremony will be held June 21st, 6:30 pm, at the Texas Life Annex.
An orientation meeting is scheduled for June 6th, at 6:30 p.m.
The orientation meeting will be held at the Waco Police Department, corner of 4th Street & Waco Drive, in the Police Deptartment Training Room.
The JPA participant and their parent/guardian must attend the JPA orientation meeting together for the participant to be eligible to attend the Waco Junior Police Academy Both applicant and parent/guardian must bring some type of Texas ID to orientation.
Deadline to return JPA application and Parent Consent Form is Friday May 31st.
Deadline to have applicant fingerprinted is Friday May 31st.

Applicant must bring or already have submitted Parent Consent Form, and Texas ID when fingerprinted.
